This unlikely band of Bingham basses has generated a huge response, to the tune (?) of £1000, through our Christmas appeal to support the superb work of Framework.  We have received this very appreciative letter from the charity. We are sure that everyone at BDCS would like to thank  the carol singers- David, Paul, Patrick, Huw, Derek, Brad, Guy and John – for their fantastic fundraising effort and for being such good sports.   Equally, we must thank our members and friends who responded so generously.  Will they sing again next year? Maybe in tune? You’d better watch out!

Dear Guy and all at Bingham Choral,

I hope this finds you all well at such a challenging time.

Thank you so much for your incredibly generous donation of more than £1,000 to Framework as a result of The Bingham Carol Singer. This significant donation will be earmarked for our Homeless To Home Winter Appeal, focussing on our work preventing rough sleeping, supporting rough sleepers, and resettling them into long term secure accommodation. Your support means a great deal and will make a huge difference to the lives of the people we exist to support, at a time when they need that support just that little bit more.

As you probably know, our work begins with homelessness – but thanks to your generosity it doesn’t end there. We deliver housing, health, employment, support and care services to people with a diverse range of needs. Last year we supported almost 19,000 people of all ages across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire. Without the generosity of our friends in the community, we couldn’t continue to empower so many people to achieve financial stability, social inclusion and independence.

Once again from all of us at Framework, thank you for your help!

Yours sincerely,
